With over two decades of Government and leadership experience, Indiana Defense Solutions LLC was founded by a disabled veteran and a disabled woman based out of Greene County Indiana. Our primary customers are the DoD, the State of Indiana, and the residents in the surrounding area. We started IDS because we firmly believe we can provide a high level of service to our customers while still developing a positive organizational culture where our employees can thrive and pursue their own professional goals.

Dr. Matthew Thompson

Matt has extensive experience in operations, program management, and leadership. He started his career as a patrol officer for the West Lafayette Police Department while serving as a Military Police Officer in the U.S. Army Reserve. After approximately five years, Matt decided to advance his career in the U.S. Army and serve on active duty. During this time, he held various leadership roles such as Division Force Protection Officer, Brigade Operations Officer, Battalion Executive Officer, and Division Inspector General, reaching the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Most recently, Matt worked as Project Manager as well as Program Manager for several contractors supporting NSWC Crane and OSD’s RF/OE Division.

 

Matt majored in Law & Society while at Purdue University pursuing his bachelor’s degree. He obtained a master’s degree in business, majoring in Business and Organizational Security Management from Webster University. For his doctoral degree, he majored in Strategic Leadership through Liberty University’s school of business. His doctoral research project focused on developing organizational culture through leadership development. He is a graduate of the U.S. Army’s Command and General Staff College and has completed over 30 other courses focused on force protection, emergency management, and/or leadership development.

Sally Moore

She is a graduate of Vincennes University. She has had a diverse and interesting career path, with experience in several different industries and roles. Her background in operations, security, and dispatch. Owning and operating her own restaurant gave her valuable experience managing a business, including financial management, marketing, and customer service. Her work with the Department of the Navy and Department of the Army provided her with experience in communications dispatch and logistics, as well as an understanding of government operations. Moving into contracting work as a systems administrator gave her the opportunity to learn the DADMS system for the Navy. As a program analyst she developed a passion for managing contracts and set her sights on program management. Her experience in program management has helped her develop valuable skills in leadership, project management, and maintaining strong client relationships.
